🌧️ Below Par Golf League — Week 15 Recap
Despite Below-average temperatures and a heavy mid-round downpour, Week 15 delivered scorching-hot action at Crestwood. With just two weeks left in the season, individual and team races are tighter than ever—and historic league records are officially on watch.
The Eric Kasper Show: Eric took low round of the night with a 39, going double-bogey-free for the second consecutive week. He banked a 10-point haul (22 points over the last two weeks) to leap into the individual overall lead. He also stuck his 2nd Closest-to-the-Pin (CTP) of the year on #12 (19' 7"), tying for the league lead.
Double-Bogey-Free Feats: Joining Kasper with zero double bogeys were Frank Gentile (3rd time this season) and Jeff Sergott (2nd time), who both carded solid 41s.
Putting Masterclass: Frank Acquaviva dialed in on the greens for the low putting round among rostered players with 14 putts (Sub Eric Rothdeiner dropped 13).
Skins & Birdie Counter:
Only two birdies hit the card all night, sweeping the skins pool: Matt Smaldon on #10 and Matt Sreca on #15. That brings the league total to 73 birdies on the year—putting the league just 1 single birdie away from tying the all-time Crestwood season record!
